Administrative Assistant - Information Technology / Accounting
Calgary

Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, this position is responsible for the following responsibilities in the IPF Calgary office.  

Key Activities and Responsibilities: 

  • Recording meeting minutes
  • IT software/hardware purchasing and receiving
  • Assist with IT project scheduling and coordination
  • Records management for IT documentation
  • IT asset tracking
  • Resource scheduling and coordination
  • Interface and provide assistance with administrative assistants from other districts on related projects
  • Assist IT staff with visa reconciliations, timesheet entry, travel arrangements, and invoice processing
  • General administration such as filing, spreadsheet work, report generation, presentation creation, photocopying, handling mail, incoming telephone call management, courier deliveries and other support duties

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • A minimum of Grade 12 with at least four years of administration experience or formal training
  • Advanced MS Office skills and experience with Word and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum supervision
  • Experience working in an IT department
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced, growth environment
  • Able to deal with people’s concerns/problems in a professional and friendly manner
  • Training and\or experience with Microsoft Sharepoint is an asset
