Administrative Assistant - Information Technology / Accounting Calgary
Reporting to the Manager of Information Technology, this position is responsible for the following responsibilities in the IPF Calgary office.
Key Activities and Responsibilities:
- Recording meeting minutes
- IT software/hardware purchasing and receiving
- Assist with IT project scheduling and coordination
- Records management for IT documentation
- IT asset tracking
- Resource scheduling and coordination
- Interface and provide assistance with administrative assistants from other districts on related projects
- Assist IT staff with visa reconciliations, timesheet entry, travel arrangements, and invoice processing
- General administration such as filing, spreadsheet work, report generation, presentation creation, photocopying, handling mail, incoming telephone call management, courier deliveries and other support duties
Education, Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of Grade 12 with at least four years of administration experience or formal training
- Advanced MS Office skills and experience with Word and Excel
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum supervision
- Experience working in an IT department
- Able to work well in a fast-paced, growth environment
- Able to deal with people’s concerns/problems in a professional and friendly manner
- Training and\or experience with Microsoft Sharepoint is an asset
