Community Investment

Inter Pipeline is committed to enhancing the well-being of the communities in which it does business by participating in projects that result in long-term sustainability.

Our community investment program focuses on areas where our unique involvement can produce a tangible and measurable result. We support programs and initiatives whose goals include building a self-sustaining legacy in the community. To ensure that our support has the greatest impact possible, our community investment initiatives focus on five areas – youth & education, health & human services, arts & humanities, community development and the environment.

Employee involvement is key to our program and Inter Pipeline encourages employees to be actively involved in the decision making process. In 2005 a Community Investment Committee was formed, comprised of employees and management representing a sampling of departments and offices from our Canadian operations. The Community Investment Committee organizes an annual United Way campaign in addition to activities supporting Adopt a Family, Days of Caring, Big Bike for Stroke and Canadian Blood Services.
